As an operator of hoists, you are obliged to maintain your equipment and to do everything possible to prevent occupational accidents. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (EKAS), which has been in force since 01.01.2000, and SUVA Guideline No. 1845 are authoritative. Since crane systems play a key role in logistics or the production process in many companies, the periodic inspection of hoists also serves to detect possible failures at an early stage and thus to carry out preventive maintenance.
