HELUKABEL is launching the HELUCHAIN ​​MULTISPEED 522-TPE UL/CSA, an improved drag chain cable. This new version offers numerous advantages for demanding applications, such as outdoor crane systems and dynamic pick-and-place systems. In the mechanical and plant engineering industry, the requirements for energy chains are increasing: longer travel distances, higher speeds and more compact designs require highly flexible, resilient and at the same time thin and light cables.
The HELUCHAIN ​​MULTISPEED 522-TPE UL/CSA meets these requirements perfectly. It has an innovative TPE outer jacket that makes the cable up to ten percent thinner and four percent lighter than comparable PUR variants. This saves space and enables greater dynamics. The extended temperature range increases the service life in many applications. An integrated tear thread makes stripping easier and reduces assembly effort.
Thanks to UL and CSA approval, the cable can be used internationally, which simplifies storage and documentation. The proven advantages of the MULTISPEED series, such as a small bending radius, gap-filling sheath and pair/bundle stranding, are retained. A shielded version minimizes EMC interference.
