Vibrations always occur during the operation of a machine. However, if these vibrations exceed certain values, damage can occur – in the worst case, even machine failure or personal injury.
The sensors of the VIM series detect the vibrations at various parts of the plant and pass on this information so that further measures can be initiated. In this way, the sensors guarantee optimum machine protection.
Different variants are available for a wide range of applications. For example, safety-relevant applications up to SIL 2 can also be solved. The IO-Link variants VIM3 *IO* allow a particularly simple commissioning and numerous modification options, suitable for any application.
