The new web panels from Pericom are an ideal solution for displaying industrial HTML5 visualizations such as Codesys. The basis of these panels is an Android operating system, on which the new Automation Browser is already preinstalled. A variant with Win10-IoT is also available.
Any automation stations can be defined using the new station list, which the browser should access. Only the IP addresses and URLs need to be specified. A connection to a VNC server is also possible. The Automation Browser has many helpful functions such as autostart, full screen mode or scaling.
The hardware of these panels consists of a powerful CPU that is particularly designed for visualizations. The display sizes vary between 7″ and 21″. Both 4:3 and 16:9 wide screen resolutions are available. A capacitive PCT touch screen is used as the input medium. WLAN/Bluetooth are integrated as well as an Ethernet interface and 2 USB ports. The supply voltage is 12..24 VDC. Thanks to the various installation variants such as control cabinet installation or VESA mounting, the PA2 series is ideal for many applications in the area of building automation such as HVAC or access control.
