AirSTREAM Compact is used in small and compact control cabinets, which are often reduced in depth. The flexible design generates more space in the control cabinet and helps to save lots of time when wiring, mounting and dismantling.
Differences to the classic AirSTREAM system
The rail profiles on the AirSTREAM Compact are not assembled with brackets but with supports. These stand off supports are available in various lengths to accomodate different application depth requirements. Front wiring The wires are routed over the combs toward the back before being laid laterally across the supports from top to bottom.
Easy mounting of larger components
The adapter rails are used for fitting surface mounted inverters or other components that are mounted with screws. Additionally some mounting rails have an integrated sliding nut channel that accommodates surface mount components.
The advantages at a glance
- Slide nut channel with new AirSTREAM stampSlide nut channel with new AirSTREAM stamp
- Edge protection (KHS): All rail profiles are supplied with matching edge protection.
- Mounting rails (RG 20): Can be used as a mounting rail or as an adapter rail, high flexibility.
- EMC accessories: For supporting shielded cables. The EMC accessory is used instead of a comb profile.
- Adapter rails (RG 35): With edge protection.
- The angle adapter (KSS): is used to align DIN rails on a slant e.g. when using clamps. Attachment on all rail profiles.
- Comb variants: A variety of comb sizes are available depending on requirements. Combs can be replaced easily.
- Sliding nut variants: All rails are equipped with a sliding nut channel (can be built over on every level).
- Hook and loop adapter (KBS): The UL-certified hook and loop adapter enables time-saving and careful attachment of wires, cables and hoses. Various versions
- EMC rail: The EMC rail serves as a support for shielded cables.
