Lightweight and portable, the HygroCal100 Advanced is designed to make it quick and simple for on-site technical and quality control teams to evaluate the performance of up to seven relative humidity (RH) probes simultaneously.
The Rotronic HygroCal100 Advanced (HC100A) is a fully integrated, stand-alone instrument, for validating humidity sensors from 5 % to 95 %RH. This makes it ideal for a wide range of laboratory and process applications, including those in the pharmaceutical, food and semiconductor sectors.
The new instrument features a robust and sealed internal test chamber, which is engineered to ensure a stable validation environment. RH stability and uniformity across the chamber are both consitent to within plus or minus 0.5 %. Also incorporated is a low-maintenance divided flow mixing system, with separate saturation and desiccation reservoirs. Ambient air can be passed through either of these reservoirs as required, to change measurement conditions within the chamber.
An advanced Rotronic HC2A-S reference probe is supplied as standard, providing accurate humidity and temperature measurements to within 0.8 %RH and 0.1 °C, with long-term drift of just ± 1 % per year. The probe is fitted with on-board memory, for storing all reference data, which allows probes to be easily exchanged.
Configuring and operating the HC100A is quick and simple, via an advanced color touch screen interface, with an intuitive, simple-to-use menu structure. This allows each user to define the required calibration procedure, which can then run automatically. It is also possible to assign any analogue output hygrometer as the reference device, and to establish a range of pre-determined conditions against which traceable reference values can be compared.
All measurement and reference data is automatically captured and can either be stored within the 2GB internal memory or downloaded via the free HC100A Service tool software directly to the PC.
