Thermography for proactive maintenance

Today, control systems are as important as the drives themselves. If there is a fault in a control cabinet, this usually leads to an interruption in operation in the same way as if the electric motor goes on strike. But how can a fault in a control cabinet be detected preventively? Thermography is a good tool: If a fault is about to occur in an electrotechnical component, this often leads to above-average heating of the component. Even after the first thermographic image has been taken, possible weak points can be identified and remedied.
